Terms and Conditions

Welcome to LionCityGuides by FabItalia (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and participation in our guided tours and activities. By booking a tour, you (“Participant,” “you,” “your”) agree to these Terms.

2. Services Provided

We provide curated guided tours and cultural activities in Singapore. Bookings are made through our website, while payments are processed securely via our appointed third-party payment provider Hitpay.

We do not store or process your credit/debit card details. Payment processing is subject to the provider’s own terms.

3. Bookings & Confirmation

  • Bookings are confirmed only upon full payment and receipt of an official email confirmation.

  • Participants must present proof of booking (printed or digital) at the tour start point.

  • Bookings are personal and non-transferable unless approved by us in advance.

  • Prices are in Singapore dollars, inclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

By Participant:

  • Once confirmed, bookings are generally non-refundable.

  • At our discretion, we may offer:

    • Rescheduling to another date, OR

    • A credit voucher for future use.

  • Late arrivals or early departures are not refundable.

By LionCityGuides:

  • We may cancel tours due to weather, safety, insufficient participants, or other unforeseen events.

  • Participants will be offered:

    • Full refund, OR

    • Rescheduling to another available date.

Attractions & Third-Party Services:

  • Tickets or add-on services (e.g., transport, venue entry) are strictly non-refundable once booked.

5. Health & Safety Regulations

  • Participants must provide accurate personal details at registration.

  • By joining, you confirm you are in good health and fit to participate.

  • You must comply with prevailing government health and safety regulations, including any directives issued during the tour.

  • We reserve the right to refuse participation if a participant is unwell, poses a risk, or fails to comply with safety measures.

6. Participant Responsibilities & Behavior

  • You must follow the tour guide’s instructions at all times.

  • Disruptive, unsafe, or offensive behavior will result in removal from the tour without refund.

  • Participants are responsible for their own belongings.

7. Liability & Insurance

  • Participation is at your own risk.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, LionCityGuides and FabItalia Pte. Ltd. disclaim all liability for personal injury, loss, damage, delays, illness, or expenses arising from participation in any tour, whether caused by third parties, weather, transportation, or other circumstances beyond our control.

  • We strongly recommend that participants obtain personal accident and travel insurance.

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our proven negligence.

8. Weather Policy

  • Tours operate rain or shine. Please dress appropriately and carry an umbrella.

  • Only in cases of extreme or dangerous weather will a tour be suspended or canceled.

  • If canceled by us due to weather, you will be offered a refund or rescheduling.​
     

9. Media Rights (Photography & Filming)

  • We may take photos or videos during tours for marketing and promotional purposes.

  • By participating, you grant LionCityGuides a royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use such media, unless you notify us in writing before the tour.

  • Participants may take personal photos/videos but must not disrupt the experience of others.

10. Intellectual Property

  • All itineraries, content, and materials provided during tours are the property of LionCityGuides by FabItalia.

  • They may not be reproduced, shared, or distributed without our prior written consent.
    ​

11. Personal Data & Privacy (PDPA Compliance)

  • We collect personal data (name, contact, preferences) solely for booking, safety, and service provision.

  • We do not collect or store payment data (handled by our payment provider).

  • Your data may be used for:

    • Booking confirmation & communication

    • Emergency contact & safety compliance

    • Marketing, only with your explicit consent

  • By booking, you consent to our use of your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and our [Privacy Policy link].

  • Your rights:

    • Access or correction of personal data

    • Withdrawal of consent (may affect service delivery)

12. Third-Party Services

These Terms are governed by Singapore law. Any disputes shall first be resolved amicably; failing which, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on our website with a revised “Effective Date.” Continued participation indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
